Mr. Dave Foreman
Mr. David Foreman started his training in Seoul, Korea in 1964 under Master Kang Ik Lee. In 1966 he obtained the rank of 4th kyu green in Judo and in August of 1968 he received the rank of Shodan in karate. He continued his training with Master Lee until he departed Korea. Mr. Foreman resumed his martial training under Mr. Glenn Keeney after he was out of the army. Mr. Keeney greatly widened Mr. Foreman's knowledge of the art of karate. In the next two years, Mr. Foreman was rated 6th and 9th in the USKA tournament circuit. In October, 1974 Mr. Foreman received the rank of Nidan from the USKA. Mr. Foreman was a member of the Indiana Competition Team in the early 1970's. The team included Mr. Glenn Keeney, Mr. Robert Bowles, Mr. Parker Shelton, and Mr. Bill Wallace. Mr. Foreman was known as "Animal" and was often the opening fight to get the crowd fired up. Mr. Foreman was the Karate Director of the Muncie PAL Club, and he brought the club into the PKC point competition and made the club one of the top Dojo's on the circuit.
