Mr. Burley Wagner began his karate career in 1964 under Mr. Robert Yarnall. He later studied under Mr. John "Count Dante" Keehan and held the rank of 6th degree black belt. In his 28 years in the martial arts, Mr. Wagner has touched nearly every phase of karate. Besides being the Midwest premiere promoter, he is an active supporter, sometimes going to more than 40 tournaments per year. He is an outstanding instructor and coach, turning out some of the country's finest students. One of the major leaders of the PKC, Mr. Wagner was the state representative for Illinois and extremely active as a PKC representative and Class A judge at full contact events.
